The Tent Veresk Restaurant
The Veresk is one of the main facilities at The Legends of the North park. We believe it will become a gastronomic landmark not only for our project, but for all of Novgorod Oblast. Its concept is based on a modern interpretation of traditional cuisine of the Russian North and Scandinavia, which is famous for mixing various tastes, peculiar textures, and cooking methods.
Just like our park itself does not claim to be an absolutely historically accurate replica with strict adherence to all the details of Ancient Russian lifestyle and exact recreation of the specific era and region, the park restaurant can also be considered an experiment in catering. Here we also aim to combine modern trends with ancient Slavic traditions, style, and authenticity. We aim to serve history and culture in such a delicious way that our guests would ask for seconds.
The end result is a modem comfortable restaurant with high-quality service where our visitors can travel into the early Middle Ages using all five senses.
To achieve that, we put a lot of work into the restaurant style, with distinct design of the hall, furniture, and so on, including finishing materials. We are especially proud of the menu. Our chef had to literally travel back in time to collect traditional and long-forgotten recipes. We think we can surprise and please even the most discerning gourmets with a lot of gastronomic experience. We also made a special children’s menu for our little visitors.
The menu is tailored to the specific season, and pays great attention to folk customs and holidays. We take extra care to use products from local farmers, thus we not only support local manufacture, but also make sure that all ingredients are fresh and as natural as can be.
The restaurant welcomes all visitors, including tourist groups and corporate clients, business meetings and entertainment events. The number of people for a banquet is up to 350.
The restaurant is scheduled to open in August 2022.
